I'd like to comment on how pleased I am with the performance of the 180 HP ECi engine you built for my RV6. I am proud to report that it has 100+ HOURS OF TROUBLE FREE service. That is saying a lot, due to the fact that 80 of those hours were used exclusively for RV training. During the course of my training, the engine is constantly being pushed to its limits with all the touch and goes, and each time it performs perfectly.

Thanks for turning out such a great product.

Sincerely,
Alex De Dominics

America's Aircraft Engines overhauled the O-470-J engine in my 1955 Cessna 180 pictured in this photo. Without hesitation I can say that the engine runs sweet, smooth , and powerful----and that I will use them again for the next overhaul!!!!

Steve,

I just wanted to let you know that I now have close to 100 hrs on my ECI 0-360 in my RV9 and I am having a blast!! The engine is running strong and smooth and I am very pleased. I know there are many good engine builders out there but I feel the real proof of their commitment is how they respond when the customer does have a problem. As you know we had an issue early but you and Richard did everything in your power to make it right. Your actions gained my trust and I recommend your company every chance I get--and I will continue to do so--YOU DID GOOD!

All the Best,
Dave B.

Dear Mr. Fowler,

I want to thank you again and commend you and your company for the fine service that you have provided in the exchange Continental engine that I got from America's Aircraft Engines. After nearly three years of great service the starter drive suddenly developed a "slipping" problem. In a phone call to you inquiring about the design of the starter drive used for this particular engine I came to the opinion that this problem had likely been caused by the aftermarket starter and probably did not relate to any parts or workmanship issues with your company.

Nevertheless your approach was simply: "send the starter drive to us and we will fix it". There was no questioning of exact warranty coverage, no discussion of who should bear the responsibility, just a comment about "we'd like to keep our customers happy." Your company repaired the starter drive and shipped it back to me the same day they received it.

I can certainly assure you that you kept this customer very happy and I am eager to say nice things about America's Aircraft Engines at every opportunity. When I have happily flown this engine to the next overhaul time, I will be back. You are certainly one of the best "smiling" stories in the general aviation world of today.

Sincerely,
Doug Lefeve

Richard,

I would like to pass on the word of how happy I am with my choice to have America's Aircraft build the engine in my plane. I met Richard at the Reno Air Races in 2003, and found him to be one of the few people I had talked to over the years who took the time to answer my questions. No matter how dumb they sounded! Richard and the staff have always bent over backwards to help with any questions I have, and I feel they have become very good friends. My ECI IO-360 went thru the test flight stage without a hitch. Now I am just enjoying the flying. Thank you Richard, and thank your staff for me.

Mr. Fowler,

Attached is a photo of an EXTREME Twin Commanche for which you have supplied 2 Extreme Engines. I can not tell you how pleased both John and I are with our experience with your company and the personal touch we felt we received from you during the whole process. Now that they are fitted to the airplane I have been able to fly again and they perform perfectly. I can assure you that my next business trip to Tulsa will include a stop by your place of business.

Once again, Thanks for the GREAT service and your Commitment to Excellence

P.S. - This is a 1967 Twin Commanche and that is the original paint from the factory.

Richard,

I just wanted to say thank you to you and your staff at America’s Aircraft Engines. Last year we installed a newly overhauled IO-550-D, purchased from you, in my 1977 Cessna 182. The performance is unbelievable and everyone that has experienced it is truly impressed. It was a pleasure doing business with you and I can assure you that I will be a life-long customer.

I just wanted to let you know my RV-9A is now flying behind the smooth running ECI eagle O-320 I helped build at your shop. I learned a lot that day in Tulsa and had a great time, too! First flight went great with the temps where we wanted them and the power was impressive.

Cheers,

Hi Richard, Stephen, & Phil,

Yesterday, Dec. 7th was my first flight (Marysville, KS). The engine runs fine with the low pressure fuel pump installed. Yesterday started with a morning low of +9F and warmed to a maximum of 21 in the afternoon. Even though it was cold it was a clear day with light winds. I warmed the engine and flew. I followed ECI's break-in instructions and maintained 75% power after takeoff and didn't reduce the prop RPM until I had over 10 minutes flight time. The maximum cylinder head temps ran about 320F except for #3 which was about 375F. I flew for about an hour with no problems. This morning I will pull the cowling to look things over, but I don't expect any problems.

I thought I would let you know that I've got 80 hours now on the IO-540 you built for our Harmon Rocket. I cut the oil filter last night and found absolutely no visible metal inside! The engine has performed flawlessly. A picture of Jackie, myself and the Rocket taken during our trip to Northern California last weekend is attached. Again, thank you and your crew very much for building me a fantastic engine.

Just wanted to let you know that I now have 60 hours on my RV-7 and that the engine has been running great with no problems. The oil temp (using the Stewart Warner baffle mounted cooler) runs in the 190 to 200 range and its is averaging 7 ¾ gph.

Thanks again for all of your help,
Mike Macey

The attached photo was taken about a year after the installation of the Eagle II IO-470-N. As of this message we have almost 200 hours on the engine and have had no problems. Oil consumption stabilized after about 30 hours and we're running 30 hours between oil changes without adding a drop. The Eagle II engine was really a wakeup call to a sick 'ole B33 Debonair.

Wow, what a difference in performance! Not only in the additional 15 kts. cruise but in takeoff and load handling capabilities as well. This is an excellent upgrade for this aircraft. In addition to the Eagle II engine upgrade we installed the D'Shannon baffling kit as well. I highly recommend it" Cylinder head and oil temps in Texas summer, on climb out, do not exceed 360 and 185 respectively. I'm looking forward to many trouble free years behind your product.

Thanks America's Aircraft Engines for a job well done.
