Just wanted to let you know that I now have 60 hours on my RV-7 and that the engine has been running great with no problems. The oil temp (using the Stewart Warner baffle mounted cooler) runs in the 190 to 200 range and its is averaging 7 ¾ gph.

Thanks again for all of your help

The attached photo was taken about a year after the installation of the Eagle II IO-470-N. As of this message we have almost 200 hours on the engine and have had no problems. Oil consumption stabilized after about 30 hours and we're running 30 hours between oil changes without adding a drop. The Eagle II engine was really a wakeup call to a sick 'ole B33 Debonair. Wow, what a difference in performance! Not only in the additional 15 kts. cruise but in takeoff and load handling capabilities as well. This is an excellent upgrade for this aircraft. In addition to the Eagle II engine upgrade we installed the D'Shannon baffling kit as well. I highly recommend it" Cylinder head and oil temps in Texas summer, on climb out, do not  exceed 360 and 185 respectively. I'm looking forward to many trouble free years behind your product. Thanks America's Aircraft Engines for a job well done.

Mark Thompson.
